Traveling
the show circuit or moving cross-country with horses? Willow
Creek Horse Farm has stalls available for people traveling cross-country
with horses on show circuits or transporting horses for delivery.
We provide layover and over night boarding. Do you have a large
rig with lots of horses that you are hauling and you want to give
them time out of the trailer? We also have a covered arena with
panels that we can set up for your horses. Please see our rates
and overnight boarding requirements below.
We are 5 minutes off of Interstate Highway 40 with access for most
rigs. For more information on our location, please see our Map
and Directions page. IMPORTANT NOTE: We may not be able to easily
accommodate large horse vans or 18 wheelers. If you are hauling
over 6 horses, or you have a large trailer over 20 feet in length,

and Weekend Getaways with your horse Wouldn't
you love to ride the gorgeous trails in the mountains of Western North Carolina
without the worry or danger of camping out with your horses? We have many visitors
who prefer to have access to a clean stall for their horses while they stay in
a nearby motel with a hot shower and a warm bed. Willow
Creek Horse Farm is conveniently located near many North Carolina national parks
and riding trails. Horse trails located the near to Willow Creek Farm are the
Biltmore Equestrian Trails and the Bent Creek Trail System. Biltmore
Equestrian Trails: Willow Creek Horse Farm is less than 10 minutes away from
the Biltmore Estate, which has over 80 miles of horse trails. Many of our Willow
Creek boarders have yearly Biltmore Equestrian Passes, which if you are planning
to come to Asheville more than once a year, a yearly pass would be less than a

Bent
Creek: Bent Creek has over 10 miles of trails which are free to ride, although
these trails are heavily traveled by bike traffic. They are fairly close to Willow
Creek Horse Farm if you travel the Blue Ridge Parkway. CLICK

Ranger District horse trails: The Pisgah National forest has hundreds of miles
of free horse trails. Most trails are between 15 and 20 miles from Willow Creek

a day of riding in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, your horse can rest
in our safe and secure stalls while you enjoy some of the finest restaurants,
shops and night time entertainment in historic downtown Asheville in the evenings.

Horse Boarding while you are on vacation or out of town Willow
Creek farm can also provide temporary horse boarding while you are
on vacation, or if you have to leave town because of an emergency.
We can help you relieve the stress of finding a trustworthy person

For
your horse we require a Health Certificate issued by a veterinarian
within 30 days of your arrival date, and a current negative
Coggins test. NOTE: Because a lot of horses will not drink out of sanitized
buckets, please bring your own water buckets.

Liability Release Agreement, which can be downloaded and printed

If possible, we prefer Check-In times
to be between 1:00 and 8:00 pm, and Check-Out times to be
before 12:00pm. Please let us know approximate times for each
and we will accomodate your schedule. Cancellation
Policy: Please
give us at least 24 hours notice if your plans change and
